Pretty sure that was a Caracal, and I think that car ended up in New England with Charlie at this point, but I could be wrong. Lots of cars have changed hands the past couple years.

You might be correct but I think she drove it at some point when Alan owned it.

Jim Vaseff has owned the car for over a decade. I'm certain it is not the car Laura drove at the VIR Runoffs. Laura bought a car to start racing Vees, and then transitioned into a car Alan owned and maintained, but it was not this car.

To anyone interested in Jim's car - as far as I know, it has never been wrecked, has always been spotless, and has the best stuff you can buy in/on it. He's not kidding when he says that in the hands of a younger/lighter driver, it is capable of running up front. I bought the spare carb that was originally available with his car last week - it looks brand new. The only thing I'm unsure of is the manifold, but I'm sure Jim can tell you when he bought it, who built it, and dyno info from Butler.

Citation XTC 41 with Silver Bullet Body conversion 2-2.pdfThis is Jim. As noted above, I have kept this car in very good shape. In fact, I am currently making a new dash. At the near end of the Corvid time I had some supply problems and am now rectifying the fixes I had to make.

For a buyer, I will spend a day going over the car: maintenance, setup, Engine removal and placement, I have a harness for this, shock setting, etc. Some specialized tools that are available, stuff that I will not need, etc.

My racing results are on the cut sheet posted previously.
