    Default 1967 LeGrand Mk6 Formula B

Many of you may recognize this car restored by a respected forum member. I purchased it last fall with great intentions. Unfortunately/fortunately a business opportunity came up shortly after that I had to take. Reality is that I won't have the time to use this car.

In the coming days I'll back fill the legacy info into this post but it's all available on this forum and elsewhere. The new info since I aquired it last fall:

Gave it a shakedown run at Gingerman and then over winter:

    • Installed FIA Novec fire system
    • Installed new transponder (2 year subscription)
    • Fabricated more substantial fuel cell surround/containment
    • Rebuilt shifter linkage to remove play
    • Fabricated new shifter (in original style) with improved geometry and materials (reducing lever travel 50% and less effort)
    • Fabricated spacers to raise pedal box for more toe room
    • Fabricated 3D foot pedal covers to improve ergonomics and feel
    • Added discrete UHMWPE skid plate the lenghth of body
    • Flushed and replaced all fluids, lubed everything lubable
    • Confirmed every nut, bolt, fastener, connector, fitting, hose, and clamp

It is truly spectacular - $60,000

Good luck with the sale. This is truly a piece of US formula car history.

That’s not a race car, that’s a piece of art. GLWS, friend.

Still for sale - been very occupied with other projects but got to get serious about finding a home for this beauty - have done nothing with it in the last year except change fluids and start it up.
