A buddy of mine ( Brian - owner of Nine Four Motorsports) took his Chum/Champ Team to WRL a while back. They were doing well with a number of podiums and trophies in Champ, but found they were not quite "on the mark" in the WRL.

Then, last December they took delivery of an NP01. They won at Road America complete with Red/White/Blue livery!

Here is a short YT from the drivers Mike & Jonathan:

When I used to fly Phantoms, I was called an AVIATOR.

From what can be seen, it looks like his best Daytona time was a 2:09

Their best time was about a 2:05 in the race. The fast lap on screen was likely due to traffic. The NP01 is required to restrict down to 10.2:1 lbs per hp for the WRL spec so it'd go a good bit faster in standard trim. Either way, Daytona is not this car's track in the series since it's quicker in the corners than on the straights. However, it did a sub 2:00 lap at VIR and a 2:23 at Road America both in WRL trim so it can still be properly quick when there's more corners.
