    Default Formula First rims

we are converting a Vee to a FST. Looking for some rims. We have hubs and rotors drilled for the original VW pattern. Any ideas?

    Default Machining FST Discs

    Blake,

You should be able to just drill new holes clocked 45 degrees from your existing locations, you will need to spot-face the inside of the discs but that was likely done for the holes already done. I had to drill new holes in my discs because the original holes didn't run true to the axle. I highly recommend using a milling machine to do this; a rotary table on the mill will speed up the process somewhat, but is not required. Even with the extra holes, the discs are well over the minimum weight. BTW: I did find that with the rigidity of the milling machine, these were relatively easy to machine. If it helps, these are supposed to be G3000 cast iron.
