    Default Kent Fuel Pump Question

    Does the stock Kent mechanical fuel pump require a regulator?

    Thanks!

    I didn't think so but I bought a Dave Bean Engineering mechanical pump because it had AN fittings. But it must be more powerful because it's blowing fuel past the needle and seat.

    Gents;

    I somehow ended up with a couple new bulletproof Kent pumps with AN fittings. Photos tomorrow to identify.

    Do you have the capability to measure fuel pressure?
    2.2 to 3.3psi is what I look for.

    I'll check. But two separate carbs have not solved the hugely rich engine condition. So I'm pretty sure it's the pump.

    That sucks. I’ve got the same pump as a spare. I know my SKs on the autocross car wouldn’t tolerate more than about 2.5 lbs.

    Gents;

    As promised. I no longer have my Kent, so this is surplus.
