    Default Who sells shifter mechanisms?

After my first event in my D-13, I want a better shifter. The one in mine is a flat blade long handle that goes down into a reverse lockout, and it seems rather worn and floppy. I see other cars with much more solid shifters that go into a spherical bearing at the bottom and seem like shorter throws and tighter. Where would I buy such a part?

    Thanks all!

Did you ever get an answer to your question? Did you get your shifter 'fixed up' so that you are happy with it now? - Sorry, I missed seeing this post last year.
No one that I know of sells 'shifter mechanisms', but there are few people that can build one for you. Jeff Spencer is the first one that comes to mind (JSM16 on this forum).
