    Sorry for your loss.

I first took notice of Ted at the last Long Beach F1 race, where I think he was well in the top 10 in Super Vee* in a huge field. Got to know him better in ‘92, as he’d occasionally hang out with our guys at Hemelgarn. He and Buddy seemed to always run together in the races.

Sad deal, too cool, too young. Dammit.

    RIP, Ted.

*Edit: looked it up, finished 16th but started 38th of 43... hence my first impression. Entered as “JS Racing,” I had no idea that was James Stewart!

Once you knew about the Jimmy Stewart connection his influence was obvious.
The mannerisms and cadence of speech was similar.
He always loved a challenge. During a school in Vegas, our Track car for leading
the group went down. Ted jumped into our rental mini Van did a one lap test came in
said he could stay ahead of the track Mustangs no problem.
No one could come close in the corners. After the first 30 minute session he had the tires
rotated aired up and took the bench seats out. He smoked em !!
Needless to say the Ford Execs weren't happy
Always an Adventure to work with Uncle Teddy!! Robin Miller used that nick name often.
