Joe still rebuilds transmissions. TJS Gears/Tom Shaver out of Plymouth, MI rebuilds transmissions too and could also help you.

Another option in the Midwest, that comes to mind Al Varacins, SE Wisconsin. There may be more out there.

    Would that be Mark Richardson?

    Glen, it has been awhile.
I think the biggest obstacle will
be getting my butt through the
    top bars

I didn't think Al was doing customer stuff anymore
Glad to hear he is still a resource

I checked with Mark today. He does everything but transmissions. I corrected my prior post.

My dad is definitely still active in the FV community and providing support to who ever needs it. We've had a lot of customer projects of all types go through our shop this winter. If you need anything, just let us know.

    Default speed sport projects

I second Mike's comment on his dad staying busy with customer projects.
Al is just finishing up a new front roll hoop for my 1979 March F/SV.

Thanks Alex. Al Varacins can do them, but that last time they needed they came to me.

I can rebuild your trans. I've been doing them on and off since about 1980. I just delivered my 78th rebuild. Many of the VSCDA guys are running my boxes, and last year at the Runoffs eight cars had my boxes. I can be reached at 248-912-5057.
