    Default BMod Tire Question - R25B or ____ ?

Hi all, I recently sold my CMod car and purchased a BMod car, and it's time to buy some tires.

Car: Dragon SR1 sports racer with 13x10 front wheels and 13x12 rear wheels

My plan for 2022 is to buy one set of tires and focus on learning the car. R25B is probably the easy button, but I have heard the Avons (A15?) might last longer and be more consistent as they wear. I have never driven on Avons, but I did a few years in CMod on R25Bs.

Curious to hear opinions from the folks who have more experience than I. Thanks in advance!

Another tire to consider if you like radials, is the Pirelli. Price is very good for tires themselves, shipping and customs were an issue ($$ wise) in 2021. Wear is very good and reasonably competitive too.

Been pretty happy with them for the last two seasons in BMOD. Will be ordering again unless I succumb to the "have to run what Matt's running" bug.

Just before you go gun hoe on any other tire Hoosier coming out with a R20B you want to try this first, I run them at the 2021 National's in the front I feel like they had better grip but I won't know until they make the R20B for the rear and see if my car handling changes.

    Call Hoosier first asked question

you have more options with Avons with the rim sizes that you're running.

I ran Avons for a season on my CM car. They heat cycle really nice, 1 lap and they are up to temp with consistent grip through out their heat cycles until they don't...

I haven't used avons at all but I hear that they can be a real beotch to mount up. Hoosiers are real easy and I have mounted many of them.
