While we all wish Brad a speedy and full recovery, I guess someone has to address the elephant in the room: has anyone heard anything regarding if and who might be stepping in to complete the existing open orders and take the inevitable future parts orders? AFAIK, Brad didn’t have any staff to pick up the ball?Thx

Race prep, support, and engineering.
I heard from a reliable source that Brad is out of the induced coma. No other details though.
Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course. Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays.
Posted on Facebook by Mark Russell:
Hello all. Dr. Mark Russell, dad to Trevor Russell here. The Baytos family asked me to post an update on Brad's condition. We were with Jon at Sebring when Brad was admitted to the hospital in SC, and at Jon's request I've been communicating with the facility physicians and nurses since that time. Thank you to Chris Scharnow for his previous updates.
If you've read those posts, you know that Brad suffered several microinfarcts (small strokes) in his brain one week ago last Saturday. His condition required that they sedate him, and because of this, use a ventilator to support his respirations while his condition stabilized. Over the past several days he has shown improvement, and as of today, is more alert, opening his eyes when spoken to, moving his arms and legs, and showing some overall progress.
The plan is for Brad to be moved from Murell's Inlet to Charleston for more specialized neurological care. Hopefully, this will occur in the next 24-48 hrs.
I know you join me in sending Brad and his family all of our prayers and good thoughts. We look forward to seeing him on the mend as soon as possible.
Thanks for posting the updates Chris. We are all keenly interested in Brad’s progress and hopeful that the reported improvements are a sign of more good news in the future.
Brad will continue to be in my (and many others’) thoughts.
Thanks for the update, Chris.

Also hoping to hear how Brad is doing.
Has anyone had contact or confirmed the rumor that Jon is managing business? I wasn't going to start calling Brad's phone until I knew the time was right.

I understand from Jon that Brad is making small progress but is much better than 2 weeks ago. Jon is trying to get the parts business back on its feet but it's a big job. Primus does plan to be at the Road Atlanta Super Tour event.

Saw this on Facebook in the FC group page from Mark Russell and thought I'd pass it on for the non-facebookers.
"At the request of the Baytos family, I'm providing a new update on Brad's condition. The great news is that he continues to improve. He is awake and alert, and they have had him up sitting in a chair. They are now working hard to identify a facility in the Tampa/St Pete's area where he can be moved for further rehabilitation, but this has been quite difficult due to the high census of all hospitals.
Jon and others are continuing the process of recovering/reorganizing all of the van and trailer contents that were damaged in the accident, and he asked that I thank everyone for their patience in the filling of Primus orders.
Please continue to send prayers and good thoughts to Brad and his entire family as he heals."
Seems like positive news!

Passing along another update per Facebook;
"Mark Russell posting another update on Brad's condition, and this is one I know you're ready to read. Brad is awake, talking, and even joking with family members. A bed is now available for him in an LTAC facility in Charleston, where he will go for continued rehabilitation and therapy. As a friend, and as a physician, I am thrilled to see the progress Brad is making. He still has a long road to full recovery, but he is clearly underway on that journey."

Thank you for the update Team Brad. It is really easy to forget that these struggles are an Enduro and not a sprint race. Those who have given prayers, labor and yes, $$ - Messenger Racing thanks you.

I refer you to this.
I just now doubled down. Why, you might ask? Because he and his business is important to our sport. $10 from everyone will put this over the top. Please?

Gentlemen and ladies. Let's get this to the original goal. It's very close and with a final push the $30k goal will be achieved. A token sum from a lot of people will make it work. If you are already 'in' please consider a top up. I am suggesting $20. Lunch money.
Thank you. Ken.
Done, sent this morning
I don't know how Brad is doing but speaking of Primus...........
The other day I needed some brake pads....placed the order online at Primus .......two days later UPS delivered 'em !!
I'm not a customer of his (yet, just bought a car), but collectively we all gotta do what we can for he and the family biz.
Very glad to hear that parts are getting out, and THANKS for that post.
