    The listing states "steel".

But, clearly, you need to buy the car and finish the monocoque in something more pleasing. Maybe a maple leaf motif?

It is possible that the monocoque is steel, the chassis in the GT40 (mkI and II) was as well as the Crossle F5000.

How long until someone on BAT asks if you can license it for the street?

I agree, but when they talk about headlights, brake lights and turn signals, it's hard not to think about that. :-)

    That, and the IMS bearing.

I could listen to the V6 all day.

Current bid is only $3,000. You don't need to be rich. Expect it to go up some though

Reserve might be a little high, considering it sold 3 years ago for $175K AUS (about $126K US). Betcha if it sells it'll be at least $150K US.

The V6 might sound fantastic , but so does a BD series engine, I know it's not a car for the weak of wallet in any case. But does the Dino engine give any advantage over a Cosworth ? These cars cost a mint to keep on the track at the best of times, I can only think the V6 would just make that side of the equation that much worse.

Only made it to $55,000 in bidding. I'm sure that's wayyyy short of what the owner would want.
