I just bought a Pinto Bosch distributor for my spare, and I presume it has not been prepped. Reconditions for the best of the best, please?

I carefully examined the distributor, only to realize there is lateral play in the gear drive end bushing. Fixable, right?

End float? Yes, can be shimmed but you do need some clearance
