Default In Search of the right FV

OK guys looking for a FV for a friend. The main issue is that he does not fit in a normal sized FV, 14 to 15 inches wide at the frame. He does not want to race in vintage he wants to race at the regional level.

He needs something between 16-17 inches at the hips and wider at the shoulders. He tried to fit in my Caracal D with the Fred Clark fat boy mod and it is still not enough.

So what are our options when it comes to a FV?

    Thanks for the help.

    Probably Citation or Protoform.

    Default Right FV

    Harry:

If he is content with Regionals, a D-13 should be the right ticket. 16" between rails and depending on your friend's height, the seat could be raised and he could be above the rails at 24 inches- or wider.

There is a Citation for sale on this site.
    Look at cockpit and pedals.
    Very roomy.
A proven car with all the updates.
Advantage has prepped this car and it is ready to
    race.
The glass seat in the car could be removed and
a bead seat fabricated to give more hip room.
The upper shoulder area is the area I can not
    verify.
    Good Luck

Vortech was designed around Brad Stout regarding width and, I've heard, built to accommodate taller guys if necessary.

A Lynx-B / Caracal-C with the main frame rails notched at the hips, tall roll bar & the floor dropped 1" under my butt fits me nicely.
    I'm 6'3" & 230#.

P.S. *note* Lynx-B & Caracal-C are the same car from the main roll hoop forward.
