I've never seen this before.

I think the general rule is if it gets hot enough to need cooling, something's wrong - like a bearing, etc.

all the cars in my shop that run gearbox pumps and coolers are big power stuff. Lotsa ponies, lotsa tire. I think LD isn’t in the realm of needing a cooler because it’s limited by the fact that it can only handle 175hp.

No. Especially after you Cryo and REM-ISF treat the guts.
