    Default AiM Data Webinars

I'm not sure if people have been following along, but AiM close to 100 webinars over the last year and close to 200 total videos on YT. While they are based around AiM software, many of the topics apply to data and could be used with any data system. I've been fortunate enough to co-host a dozen webinars and really enjoy them.

The latest one shows many of the improvements in Race Studio 3 Analysis and hint at it becoming the full use analysis platform in the near future. There are some really great improvements and for anyone with a SCHD or RS3 configured logger, this winter is a great time get up to speed on it. Integrated video, colorized graphs, and the ability to get data from Smartycam videos make it a powerful tool and time saver.

    Here's the latest video

I agree. They are great. They are live most Tuesdays, but as you say, the videos (and related chats/questions) are available on YouTube. You can easily sign up to get reminder emails the day before their next live webinar.

Thanks for sharing, good to know with the off season blues starting to kick in.

On a semi-related topic, I run an older MXL Pista unit, will that unit ever be able to run Race Studio 3, or will that device be Race Studio 2 for as long as it lives? From what I understand it's the latter, but maybe that has changed.

You will always program it in RS2. RS3A will accept the drk files from the MXL Pista and you'll be able to do all the analysis like you are used to. You won't be able to synch the video with the data like the new loggers allow as the Pista doesn't have the right info in the data files.

If you have a SCHD (any variety), you can import the video into RS3 and get the data from the camera feed synched at 6 Hz.
