Default 2022 Primus F2000 Mini Series

    2022 Primus F2000 Mini Series

Pawleys Island, South Carolina · Oct 23.2021 - Primus Racing parts is excited to announce its plans for the 2022 season. PRP will organize a shortened championship series for F2000, with the possibility of also adding F1600.

The 2022 championship will feature a three weekend series starting in January at Sebring International Raceway. We will then move on to Road Atlanta in early March, and the final event will be at Virginia International Raceway in April.

Each weekend will feature a title sponsor from our long time supporters; with the Quartermaster Classic starting at Sebring, Aero Strait Race Mirrors Grand Prix of Road Atlanta in March, and the GP of VIR in April (final event sponsor pending).

Series prizes will be paid at the final event all the way down to 10th position based on cumulative results with a total of 6 races counting towards the total. The highest finishing pinto powered car will also be eligible for a separate award.

Series eligibility will be based on FRP rules with the MZR powered Van Diemens eligible for prizes. Our goal with this championship is to identify a select few marquee events to increase the numbers for the FC class. By participating in all three weekends, drivers will also be automatically qualified for the SCCA Runoffs early in the year. There will be a small registration fee of $150 if you want to be eligible for season ending prizes, but this fee is not a requirement to run for the trophies distributed at each event.
