    Default Vintage Lynx

Another question about period body/chassis as manufactured pre 72. When did raising the beam on Lynx begin? It is easy to identify as the steering box must then have a fairing around it after raising. When did lowered floors for the Lynx begin? All the period photos I have been able to view do not show those modifications.
    Thanks

I think you will find that Garret Van Camp had raised the front beam on his Lynx B when he won the FV national championship in 1971. It does not get much earlier than that. Regarding lowered floors - not sure when that started.
