Default Let's go racing! RCFFS event at PIRC on October 15-17, 2021

    Hello, Drivers:

The final event of the season is at Pittsburgh International Race Course (PIRC) - a perennial favorite - on October 15 - 17 for our last event of the 2021 season. This 2.8 mile track is awesome to race on with good passing spots, 18 turns, and challenging corners not to mention the fun downhill/uphill section.

    >Register today!<----

For those of you who have already registered, thank you! There's still time to register and get the early entry fee before it ends Oct 10, so sign up now to add your name to the growing list of competitors for PIRC.

We will once again be with Formula Race Promotions (FRP) and following a schedule similar to our previous RCFFS race weekends is as follows:

Drive around in street cars Friday morning, October 15 (10 min)
Practice day is Friday, October 15 (two 25 min practice sessions)
Qualifying the morning of Saturday, October 16 (25 min)
Three 25 minute races: one on Saturday afternoon, October 16, and two on Sunday, October 17, - one in the morning (feature) and one right after lunch (bonus)

Total track time 2.5 hours! A great value for your time and money.

We're planning to have “micro" classes again - CF Treaded, CF Slicks, FF Slicks, and FF Treaded - depending on who registers. If needed, SCCA Annual Tech Inspections will be available to competitors at the event. Registration links, the schedule, and other useful items are on our website.

Just a reminder that RCFFS is a series for drivers by drivers. If you need help getting onto track, there are folks who can help you. Whether it’s needing a part or finding the gremlin in the engine, there are people who can help you both now and at the track.

As always this is an inclusive race event catering to Formula F cars (FF, Formula Ford, CF, HF) of all eras and configurations as well as drivers of all ages with minimally demanding requirements - slicks, treaded tires, Kent, Cortina, or Honda power. So invite a friend to race with you!

Look forward to seeing you there. Sign up now!

    Yours for the sport,
Angela Slocum, David Gernert, and Will Velkoff
    RCFFS Liaisons
