Motec UTC Bad?

So after my first test day with my new to me PFM, I tried connecting the UTC to the car to read the data, but he ECM won’t connect. I’ve tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. I’ve tried a restart on my laptop also.

Dave Ferguson has been helping me with downloading the correct files, so I know everything is correct with that.

Anyone have any ideas? Could the UTC be broken? Any way to test it?

Yes, we can test it using the MoTeC CAN Inspector program. We have installed that on your computer already as part of the utilities.
