    Default They're not digital...

So, we'll have to do something else.

When I bought them, I was assured they were digital. That was one of my criteria for getting them from CRR since digital radios were just starting to be used. I guess they WERE digital channel selection and display. So I may have to buy a set of 3 new radios. I guess that's not really a bad thing, but I was hoping to be able to use these. When I talked to Mark at CRR Tuesday, he also said they were not digital, but back then I'm positive he assured me they were. That was likely a gap of communication between us.

I am trying to find a small digital scanner similar in function to the analog Receiver 1600. That would at least get us the digital FRP team broadcasts. That plugs into the crew chief's headset or a boombox, depending on the situation.

I guess they don't really owe me anything since I've used them with good success for 7 years. I guess I'll just have FRP's sponsor SpeedCom set them up for me.
