    Default Operation Rescue

The Board of the Formula First Drivers Association decided to rescue formerly great race cars from being sentenced to a life garage queen. Sometimes these were stored in agricultural settings, back yard lean to’s or what whatever. So we started a program called Operation Rescue where we buy the kind of cars needed to race successfully in the Hoosier Series and make sure they don’t suffer an ignominious end with bird nests in their pedals and rats chewing on their wires.

Take a look ---one car sold, another for sale at a great price, and yet another on the way.

    Default Price

This is a great idea! Good luck. I'm not seeing the price on your linked site. Are you going to post it for sale here?

Yes we are going to do that but we are cleaning it up right now and soon we should should have a bunch of pictures. So far the only thing we needed to do in addition to the janitorial work is buy a new battery. After that it started right up and oil level stabilized in the tank.

    Default Plenty of Time

Just wanted to point out that for someone who is interested in racing this season two things are important.

First, this car is practically turn key thus you --no restoration here.

Second, the Hoosier series does not start until Mid June so you won't miss an event if you act fairly soon.

In addition our Board members will be there to help the new buyer out---you won't be alone!

    Default Up Date Operation Rescue

To date we have bought and resold 2 cars. One of those cars returned immediately to the rack, the other we hope will be running next year. Recently we facilitated the sale of a 3rd car that will be racing next year. We have also connected 2 sellers and 2 buyers that are currently working out final details for a sale. Both of these cars are expected to see significant rack time next season.

I know there are still a lot of cars sitting in garages gathering dust. We would love to see you dust it off and return to the track. If this is not in your plans and want to sell, PM me with the details.
