Same as adding a photo - manage attachments.

Tried that, but the screen grays out and does nothing.

Have you tried deleting some attachments? If your quota is full, you can't add any more.

Click on attachments and in the LH column, scroll to the bottom to Miscellaneous : Attachments - you delete them from there.

There is also a size limit to PDFs, too—albeit a generous size of 635 mb—but there is a limit.

That's huge. How does that count in your 'photos' allotment?

If need be, there are a number of free online utilities to reduce the size of a PDF. Sometimes they can be quite large and the online reducers can really reduce (like 80%!) the file size. This site does them, but you're limited to two fixes per day. Also does some other neat things which are useful. Works well for cheap bastards (That would be me) who refuse to pay the big bucks of a full Acrobat Suite which can do those things.

All attachments count toward the same file limits, regardless of whether they are PDFs, JPGs or TXT docs.

You can also host your files on Google Drive or DropBox or somewhere like that and link to the file here if space is an issue.
