    Default Clutch & Push Plate

Where should I be purchasing a new clutch and pressure plate for my FV? Anything new in the SCCA GCR about FV clutches I should know?

You want a newer style fingered pressure plate and an old stock German disk. Try Dietmar at Quixote Racing in SoCal. He has a website

    Default Clutch/PP

    Dan:
There are two "styles" of pressure plates. The old is referred to as a three finger and the newer style is a diaphragm. Both work equally as well.
I would suggest the Sachs/ Amortex brand over any others. Some old stock "Made in Germany" are still available, but almost twice the price of the Brazilian version..
On the clutch disc, again the Sachs brand seems to hold up well. Here I would suggest the solid disc.

I will be the first to tell you that some suppliers have the above items at a lower price than I since they buy in quantities of hundreds and I buy in ones and ten, but their decals are not as nice as mine!

If you need help, feel free to call or e-mail.
