    Default IRacing league?

Keith, I know that you are an IRacing member. Have you ever thought about running an IRacing league? I don't know how many Apexspeed members are a part of IRacing, but might be something worth looking in to? I just joined the Canada Racing League. I've done a couple races with them, and it's great fun. Looks like it's not too much in to setting the league up too...

If you aren't that interested in setting it up, but there's enough interest in doing a league, I'd be happy to look into it.

I regularly race the Radical and USF2000 official series - depending on the track each week. I really enjoy both (the Radical is harder to drive and far more competitive, but generally the races are cleaner as the quality of the racecraft is better) and would really like to see more and better racing in the USF2000. It's a really nice car to drive - fast enough to be challenging, but not so fast as to be unreasonable to get good at. I'd be keen to join a race in one of these cars.

Is not iracing, but the next series the Chicago group Keith pointed us to for rFactor2 racing will begin a on open wheel series in about a month using the Pro Mazda PM18 car.

Current series is running Cadillac DPI. Usually get 12-13 drivers weekly.

Races on Thursday (15 minutes, then reverse grid 15 minutes)

    Saturday points races

If you have interest let me know.

    Hi Aaron,
I saw that, and my problem is weekends are just about not possible for me. I also seem to remember them starting fairly early? I would be interested in the Thursday races if it works out. I have been stuck on IRacing for a few months here, it's a very good online multiplayer format. Little expensive, yes, but compared to what we usually spend on racing....?

    Shane,

After this current series is over. The next series which will move the points race night to Thursday because it is racing season for many of the members.

You are welcome to join in on the current series with the Cadillac DPI cars. The Thursday races are 15 minutes for race 1 and then 15 minutes for race 2 with reverse grid from finishing order of race 1.

You will need to purchase the Cadillac DPI is about $5 from what I remember and download the 2020 Zandvort track.

    Will PM you the password.

Sorry, I haven't been on here in a while. I have been on an iRacing kick lately to mainly run the off-road trucks, but I've also been jumping into the Radical SR8, SRF, and USF2000 races. I've given rF2 a break since I think I've grown tired of the graphics being so sub-par even though I still favor the physics and force feedback above all other sims. I haven't thought about really hosting anything ApexSpeed targeted in iRacing. My original reasons for starting the rF2 league was to get people together and race competitively and with iRacing you can do that at any time. ...Although you do come across the plethora of sim-morons that don't have any racing experience who will dive bomb you, take you both out and then chew you out via private chat. One of the biggest reasons I haven't done the iRacing league thing is that I'm still pretty new to the whole platform and requiring people to run on specific tracks they may not have is a bit of an ask especially since they're $15/track for the most part. I've hosted a practice server with a few friends of mine for the $1/hour or whatever it is, but that's about the extent of it. I like the fact that I can set up the rF2 server and just leave it on and people can jump on and practice at any given time with the extremely wide range of tracks we have available. Most of those are pretty high in quality. Given that, if anyone wants to do some kind of iRacing/ApexSpeed runs whether it be practice or racing, have at it. Send me a friend request on iRacing and let us know a schedule. I'd like to get a big group of us racing some Pro4 trucks at Crandon too!!
