Post Formula Racing in Northern Virginia

    Hi all,
I am a college student currently racing in the WKA road racing series and I am getting my novice SCCA license from Lucas Oil at the beginning of April. I am wondering if there are any members here located in Northern Virginia that would need help with any regular maintenance or updates/upgrades on their cars? I am looking to getting familiar with working on formula cars because I enjoy the technical side just as much as the driving side but it would also help to get familiar with them prior to buying one. Especially with zero background.
    Thanks in advance, Jordan.

I would visit the Hoosier Super Tour event at Summit Point in March.

I would expect Chuck Moran and Tim Minor to be there. Two of the best FC drivers in the country.

    Jordan

You might contact Ken Van Horn, the formula/prototype drivers rep for DC Region. There will likely be limits on attendance at Summit Point events. He could help you get on somebody's crew list.

You can find his email address here: https://www.wdcr-scca.org/contact
