    Default Paint question

I am planning to replicate (kind of) the colors from the 191 Jordon F1 car. Two shades of green and one shade of blue. The darker of the green is essentially John Deere green. Any ideas of what car color would be close to the light green and blue? Too cheap to pay for color match......

Add some white a bit at a time to the dark green in a small batch, that should give you a mix percentage when it shoots the right color.

(Painted a small class hydroplane in the 4-shade pink Circus Circus color years ago, worked great)

Or yellow. You can generally purchase small quantities ( even take your own jar) of toner from the paint suppliers.

As a former custom and sign painter, yes on yellow unless wanting a pale green.

The easiest mistake to make is adding too much color to any mix. Go slow.

Edit: looked at a few images to verify memory of these colors. If the brighter green you seek is that on the leading edges of the front canards, I would start with a lemony yellow and slowly add green. You may need a skosh of white but I am betting not.

If needing a fair amount of any mix, start with Dixie cups and “practice mix” with known measures of each color — before committing and (likely) trashing the whole stock.

Well, judging from my years of experience with Ty-De-Bowl, you could also try blue and yellow to make a green. Heheh.
