    Default Swift DB3 2-litre dimensions

Would anyone be so kind as to share the following dimensions for the Swift DB3 FC, please?

    Wheelbase
    Front track
    Rear track
    Front camber
    Front caster
    Ride height

Also typical offset for front and rear wheels.

    Thanks in advance!

    Dan,

    You're off by 1, I've got a DB2...

Regarding DB3 dimensions, I may have the info in my paper archives from the 80's. I'll take a look this weekend.

    Tim,

Sorry, I've got nothing for the DB3 it must have gone with the car.
Try reaching out to the Dougs at Fast Forward. Doug Sr. is a wealth of Swift knowledge.

Received safely and hugely appreciated, thank you!

I delivered the chassis to the fabricator this morning. They are going to replace the missing cockpit diagonals and put the previous owner's horrible modifications back to original.

The chassis work is approaching completion, finally!

Putting right the previous 'modifications' has been a bigger job than expected - all the upper cockpit tubes have required replacement as well as remaking some of the engine bay.

All that is left is to fill the myriad of odd holes previous owners have drilled for messed-up fixings, then it's off for powder coating.

    Default Swift

You're in England? Where do you race it? Build photos and details would be interesting. Thanks

Yes, this is a US Swift DB3, it came to the UK in 1985, brought in by the subsequent founder of Swift Europe.

It had been very badly 'modified' by a previous owner so we had extensive rectifications to do on the chassis, plus many parts had been removed and sold by another earlier owner. Having nothing as a reference and navigating the various detail design changes (especially around suspension and mounting points) has been a huge challenge!

Fortunately the Swift is very logically designed, so remaking parts that couldn't be located was fairly straightforward. I have also had great help and support from a number of US owners and former owners.

I don't have many pictures, but there are a few in my postings in the Swift DB1 group on Facebook. I've added a couple from the build.
