Gona be a rough ride when Santa gets to Connecticut tonight with 70 mph wind gusts predicted for the state.

Better aero-stabilizing skirts than when we were kids.

    Default We saw Santa

It was great, actually. On this past Thursday, right around 4:30 pm so not quite dark yet, my 16 year old came in from walking the dog to tell me that a couple blocks away there was Santa on a horse-drawn sleigh! Threw on our coats, and ran to the end of the driveway, and sure enough, two horses pulling a sleigh (well, a carriage made to look like a sleigh). It was a kick seeing all the little kids (who would have normally had their Santa mall visit already if it were not for our lockdown) waving and cheering. It was really great.

Turns out it was quietly put on by the neighbourhood association (which, apparently, I belong to!)

    cheers,
    BT
