    Default How much paint

If anyone has painted their own FF or FV, how much paint do you need per coat? Quart, 2 quarts? Assuming the primer/base has already been laid down.

    Thanks!

It depends on paint type, how much it's reduced and how good your prep. My Crossle 35 bodywork took a quart.

I like single stage urethane, usually 3:1 with activator, no additional reducer. I haven't shot fiberglass before, I hope urethane flexes well.

You can always add a flex additive.

It all depends on the paint and what you're painting. If you're painting just the body I would say 11/2 quarts depending on how much body work is involved. I prefer single stage enamel personally. If your painting chassis and body and spares add 2 more quarts.
