    Default At least there'll be racing when Skynet takes over

    Anyone see "Real Steel," where human boxing was outlawed and robots were used instead? I certainly hope this isn't the future. But from a technical standpoint it's fascinating to see how machine learning is being applied to teach cars to be faster and handle "sideslip.":

    Maybe some day we'll have a certain number of autonomous "jam cars" in races to make things interesting, like an old slot car set up used to.

    For years, the top designers have featured that the driver is the weak point of their designs.
