    Default Helmet Painters

As many of us will be buying new helmets very soon, I'm searching for recommendations on good (and reasonable) helmet artists.

There are a lot of big names out there that also require a big budget. There are also those guys that have smaller and less well-known names in the business and do a fine job.

If you know of any good painters, or, better yet, have experience with good painters, please share their information and your experience.

    Thanks in advance.

One of the very best is a friend of mine - Christopher Dominguez. Lives just west of Indy. You can contact him through his Facebook page:

If you do, tell him I sent you.

    No idea about his prices.

There is a guy in Doylestown who has a listing on akron/canton. Craigslist that shows some helmets he has painted. I think it's Flame thrower customs. Don't know anything about price, but they look nice and he is local.

    Default Helmet painting

I have had 3 helmets ( in 25-30 years) painted by Blowsion in Portland (Sherwood actually), OR.
    Phone 503-625-3616.

Not cheap, about US$850 per helmet, but the design, detail and quality is fantastic.
They paint jet skis, helmets etc.

After 10-11 years every helmet still looked brandnew, and I race open wheel, FC and F!000.
    Highly, highly recommended.

I got my Stilo painted last season for $700 (+shipping). Let me know what you think.

The painter is: Watts Race Paint located near Orlando, FL.

    Default Watts Race Paint

I second the praise for Brian @ Watts Race Paint. He did helmets for my son and I and a number of others that we race with.
