Default Congratulate Road Atlanta F500 Winners

The Hoosier Super Tour stop in Atlanta last weekend was HOT! Not only were there 250+ cars running but the temperature was ridiculous both days. F500 got a full dose of the weather due to afternoon race times. Leon and Jeremy at Mitchell Racing and the McMahans worked tirelessly in the heat supporting most of the F500 cars and drivers.

Clint McMahan was the class of the field as usual, running competitively with the FCs in our group. Calvin Stewart decided it was not hot enough in Michigan, so he made the long trek to race with us. He had a tire go down in Sunday qualifying and had to start from the back of the pack for the race.

    Here are the race podiums.

    Saturday
    McMahan
    Bugg
    McLeod

    Sunday
    McMahan
    Stewart
    DeLong

Great racing both days! I need to install air conditioning, though. This old, fat guy really struggled with the heat -especially on Saturday. But we had a fantastic time all weekend.

Thought Roebling Road would have tuned you up for the heat!
