Default Time to go racing at Summit with RCFFS - Aug 21-23, 2020

Race #2 of the season at Mid-Ohio is in the books and next up for the Right Coast Formula F Series (RCFFS) is racing at Summit Point on August 21-23, 2020. Summit Point is the ancestral home of RCFFS and has long been one of everyone’s favorites. The Summit Point Circuit provides another venue that lends itself to great racing on a challenging track with a couple of great passing opportunities and a good mix of slow, medium, and fast corners. This race is the last RCFFS race of the summer before we return to Pitt for the Post Runoffs Blast on October.

Click here to register. For those of you who have already registered, thank you! If you’re at all considering racing with us at Summit Point please sign up now so we can plan accordingly for trophies and secure our format. Remember you can register without needing to commit to the registration fee.

We will once again be with Formula Race Promotions (FRP) and following a schedule similar to our previous sessions. Registration links, the schedule and other useful items are on our website. We’ll post other details and items related to these special times as they become available. It is anticipated that the same FRP COVID-19 guidelines will be applicable. We’ll have posters and we plan on doing a podium again for the feature race as permitted.

The racing is always great at Summit so please sign up now to come race on August 21-23, 2020.

    Stay healthy and safe,
Angela Slocum, David Gernert, and Will Velkoff
    RCFFS Liaisons

Approaching 20 entries in RCFFS, and 15 in F1600. Seems like the place to be on the August 21-23 weekend.
    Still time for more entries!

First time racing with this group. Can anyone point me to information on hours/location for registration and tech at this event?

Hi, welcome to the party. Load in is officially 6pm Thursday, but we may be able to get people in earlier. Registration is at the FRP trailer in the paddock and (wait for it...) tech comes to you for a safety check. The Series parks the paddock, so there's no 'land rush' as there is with some other series and it becomes an orderly paddock.

If you have already registered on motorsportreg.com, great, if not, please do so. You will receive an email with driver's notes- a lot of good information in them. There is a full weekend schedule posted on racefrp.com

You can always call or email us at FRP with any questions.

Bob, Thanks for the reply. I registered on August 4th and have not received any email other than a reply from MotorsportsReg to confirm that I am registered.
