I would consider (read: prefer) welding female high-end Dzus type receptors into my chassis lower sides to facilitate coachwork removal. Suggestions?

I was thinking a socket type that would be inserted into the frame rail and welded flush with the rail.

How would the backing spring be attached in a socket recessed into a frame rail?
The tabs above are what I've used - very easy, the tab part is long enough to bend/cut to fit just about anywhere you require.
