    Default Weldable Dzus Female Fasteners

    Gents;

    I would consider (read: prefer) welding female high-end Dzus type receptors into my chassis lower sides to facilitate coachwork removal. Suggestions?

    I was thinking a socket type that would be inserted into the frame rail and welded flush with the rail.

    How would the backing spring be attached in a socket recessed into a frame rail?

    The tabs above are what I've used - very easy, the tab part is long enough to bend/cut to fit just about anywhere you require.

    I used nutserts with floating nuts. Really worked well.
