Default Getting (the forums) back to normal...

As we slowly move back to the race tracks, the office and grocery stores, we're going to dial down the off-topic politics and sociological discussions again here on ApexSpeed. The last few months have been strange for everyone, but this is the one place I know I can show up and not be bombarded with current events and political grandstanding.

All current threads on out-of-bounds topics will be locked and any future wading into that area will be immediately closed down. If the usual suspects want to argue about their favorite news channel or political viewpoint, they can take it elsewhere and off of ApexSpeed.

That is fine with me but really had not noticed anything unusual.

There is one forum I attend regularly which has a section devoted to politics and religion. It gets pretty boring after a while as there are six or eight libs and six or eight righties and they always get back to the same things over and over.

    This forum is great!

While I think that people being willing to talk with, and debate with, others that they disagree with is essential for freedom, I agree that this is not the place. [I'll even try to stick to racing talk myself]

Talent usually ends up in front, but fun goes from the front of the grid all the way to the back.
