This guy is the best but expensive. He does motorcycle wheels and can do our 13" car wheels as well. I've sent him some magnesium moto wheels with a 1" chunk missing and he welded in a new piece. Also sent him some mag BBS wheels from my Stohr and did a great job. He has a separate paint guy who can match or do anything you need.

Thoughts on fixing racing wheels? Not worried about them breaking under the loads? I have this one wheel huge stress crack in it, leaking air. I assumed it was a goner.

Repair at your own risk. It is a calculated risk that one needs to decide for themselves.

I have had nothing but bad luck with repairing mag wheels but I think a lot depends on who is doing the repairing and the exact nature of the repair.

Repair is one thing but at speed turn 17 or well over to the left just past the apex of turn 1 at Sebring is another.
