    Default More Info

The car has many logbooks. the first one is dated September 1973 with the first race at Pocono. The last race was in May 1999 also at Pocono. The roll bar and log book # is 005-7358. The engine I took out of another D13 that got wrecked and did a total rebuild. It has been lightened (Flywheel, pistons(wrist pins), rods) and balanced. The cylinder heads looked good and the carb has been gone through. The manifold is probably the weakest point, it might even be stock (with the heat pipe cut off), I honestly don't remember.
I did a total rebuild on the car, frame up, about 3 years ago. At that time I started the engine and ensured it was running properly. Since that time it has been stored, covered, in my barn while I have raced my other FV.
The belts were new 2016. Not sure of the date for the fuel cell.
As the ad stated (I think), it also comes with a car stand.
    Hope this helps.

    Default Noses? Tail Sections?

I don't see noses listed or shown? Is the fire system charged? What Metro area are you near?

Crap a little too late. I am pretty sure this is my old car. I raced it 1992 through 1996. Did it have an extended roll hoop? It looks like the front down bards have the collars I welded on, Did the main hoop have collars at the base? The yellow, red and black body work looks exactly like it, was the window area extended to accommodate the taller roll hoop?

Sorry for the questions, just wondering if this was mine. I have been looking for it. Can you say where it went?

Yes, I'm sure its the same car. I acquired it as an spare frame in a package with another D13 that had the frame modified to make the sides flat and narrow. That car was wrecked at Mid-Ohio and I bought another car and raced that for years. This frame sat in my barn for years until the dual-shock D13 was made legal for vintage. I built the car up several years ago but never raced it. The last entry in the logbook is from 1999. I am in Ohio.
