    Good stuff, thanks for sharing.

Particularly enjoyed the pictures from the 1977 Canadian GP. I happened to have been sitting at Moss Corner, shivering in the cold that day, only a few feet away from whomever took the pictures.

Hey all, added some more galleries. One of which might be particularly interesting for many of Apexspeed's members...

    1978 SCCA runoffs:

2011 Canadian Grand Prix (picked as one of the top 5 F1 races of all time):

Something cool...my Dad saw this Bob Lobenberg Crossle and in 1978, and again in 2019 racing against me with Bill Bonow at the wheel.

    Default Awesome!

I was at the 1977 Cdn Grand Prix - still have the program. We were all over the place, but i will never forget standing on the outside of 8 with my dad as Gunnar Nilson crashed his Lotus sideways into the earth wall RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! The car flipped up on its side but went back down onto its wheels. Once we knew he was ok, we sorta looked at each other and realized how shart-scared we were!

I was 12, it was my first motor race ever. I had begged my dad to take me, but as he had never been to a race he got a buddy of his (John Nicholson, a twin-engine lay-down endurance kart racer) to take us both. John died of natural causes not many years later, and we lost Dad in 92.

Probably the greatest day I ever had with Dad. And it set the hook into me to get on track myself, which is a continuing saga

Thanks for the pics guys - really great

    best
    bt

Another blast from the past uploaded on our website. 1981 SCCA Runoffs. Lots of very impressive names in the formula fields. Enjoy!
