To help quantify pros and cons, perhaps outline what your plans are.
My first concern would be "what would you do with the FL15?"

    A+ for speed
    A+ for safety
    B+ for parts supply
    C for engine life...

    FL 15
    engine life according to Honda
and comparing to 5 seasons of USF4 (k 20 engine)K24 has more mid torque.
6000 to 8000 miles before top end
bottom unknown..too new of an application.
Safety FIA F3 standards so very good.
Speed equal well prepped pro mazda
    Paddles shifters ,pneumatic ,bulletproof.

When the FL15 came out, it ran slightly better than F2000 lap times for slightly less than FA costs.
Not sure what the asking price for one would be these days with no seriously competitive place to run it, but as you already have an RT 41, why step down?
Gillespie's 016 is currently the best car in the country for sale, buy it if you can afford it, and dominate the runoffs.

We ran in the Formula Lites Series with 2 cars full time and were heavily involved from start to finish. Since then we have also been re selling alot of the cars as well.

The series only ran in 2015 and the cars were fantastic except for issues with the engine mapping making the cars lack alot of straightline speed. Going into 2016 that got fixed but sadly notbody got to see it. We personally are the ones who fixed it for HPD and the series so we know all the facts. The cars with the updated engine mapping make 220HP at the rear tire after the update. Note that HP rating is at the tire and not the crank! Before it was only 148HP at the tire. This has had zero effect on reliability. There has been 0 engine rebuilds since 2015 even with all the cars that been sold to club racers/track day guys. We have 2 customers at Thermal who have put extensive miles on there cars and the cars still make max power 5 years later! All of this while running on 91-93 octane pump gas as well, not expensive race fuel!

Its a true shame everything went the way they did with the series because the cars are nothing short of fantastic. Awesome brakes, great aero, paddle shift shift, reliable engines and gearboxs, modern cars up to altest safety spec etc. The paddle shift system is bullet proof and require essentially 0 maintenance. With the paddle shift system it has made the gearboxes bullet proof as well just requiring very simple oil changes. You'll never wear out any dogs or anything due to the perfect auto blip downshifts and no lift shift up shifts. The only issue the car had in the 1 year the series ran was the lack of horsepower, now with that fixed it is absolutely awesome.

The cars are EXTREMELY economical to run and after the horsepower situation was fixed has been most incredibly bang for the buck. All the customers who have bought cars from us have had the same exact reaction. Fast, cheap, modern, safe car. Its the perfect combination of what you are looking for.

All the parts are readily available, zero issue when it comes to that as well. Just this year alone we have help move 4 of these cars. 3 of them to CA and 1 to TX. One of our customers has commented on this thread. Call me and I'll you get a car, 631-974-4379
