That's a great setup and a reasonable price. Wheel and pedals new close to a grand alone.
Offer 1200 and you are laughing I think.

Nice turn key setup with very good pedals and wheel, even at $1500 that's not a bad deal. Offer $1200 and see if he bites

Without knowing the PC specs, it's difficult to know what you're getting. I ran iRacing on my PC I built 12 years ago... That's the same sim seat I have which was close to $800 new and the Fanatec stuff is middle of the road tier stuff with low end being Logitech and top end being direct drive stuff like Accuforce. I also have Fanatec hardware although mine is Clubsport. I'd offer $1k if it's in good shape when seeing it in person and work your way up from there.

PC should be the following, it's not blistering fast but should be okay to start with. Maybe upgrade the video card depending the game. But the value is likely in the rig and wheel / pedals:
PROCESSOR / CHIPSET
- CPU
Intel Core i5 (4th Gen) 4460 / 3.2 GHz- Max Turbo Speed
3.4 GHz- Number of Cores
Quad-Core- Chipset Type
Intel H97 Express- Processor Main Features
Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2
GRAPHICS CONTROLLER
- Form Factor
plug-in card- Graphics Processor
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750- Video Memory
2 GB
Thanks for the replies so far guys/girls. I'm going to look at the rig later on today.
The guy said he has pedal dampers that go with it too?

Awesome! How much did you end up paying?
Now buy rFactor2 and run with us! :-D
I lost motivation from running any kind of league only having 3 or 4 people interested. If we can get some momentum and get 10 or so racing, I just may put the band back together. I just built a new gaming/sim racing PC so I'd like to use it again soon!

IMO iracing is just a money suck and isn't really that great. Assetto corsa though is awesome.
But I only race in VR now and couldn't go back.
Nice!!
Honestly, I haven't tried iRacing in several years. I'm not a big fan of the subscription business model for how infrequently I get to sit down and race on the sim. From what I did experience though, iRacing at the time was lacking in the physics and graphics departments, but is definitely the sim to have if you want to randomly jump online and compete against a bunch of people. I am a bit jealous though of the dirt track and off-road cars they have recently added. rFactor2 has an amazing tire model and have come a long way with the graphics detail. Their real road physics are also unmatched with having a groove on track that develops and gains traction over time as well as the clag/marbles that develop off line. The two modern sims that I have on my PC are rF2 and Assetto Corsa.
