    Default Car transporters

Looking for a recommended transporter for a vintage H-Mod car from Dallas to Virginia. Have you used someone fairly recently and were happy with the service? Want enclosed transport. Thanks!

I called and their number is disconnected. There are no posts in the past many months on their webpage/facebook.

Have used Passport Transport a number of times. Always happy. Boxes of spares and loose bits aren't welcome though as I recall.

I bought the 1963 Beach Mk 4 recently that was auctioned on Bring A Trailer. Location is Dallas. Car comes with some disassembled stock engines, but I havent decided yet what power plant to use.

I've had good luck with BATS, but the experience was a few years ago.

I have used BAT a couple of times 5 to 10 years ago. Very good service despite their transport trailer being a pig pen of empty oil cans, rags, stuff rolling around. Good people.

I have called them but they are reluctant to schedule deliveries to the East Coast. They are a Oregon operation and now do delivery to Alaska as their primary business.

I've used A1 Auto Transport a couple times - most recently last year. Nothing but positive experiences with them and they're pretty affordable in my estimation. (800) 452-2880. You may have to ship the extras separately, but I'm sure it's not a problem.

All of the Thomas C Sunday links seem to redirect to A1 Auto Transport now so not sure if they got acquired. Thomas Sunday were in my experience one of the only transporters willing to ship loose items (spare engine, wheels etc.) with the car for a nominal extra fee.

You can get some good deals on U-Ship via mom and pop operations with a truck & trailer, just gotta do more homework on reviews, ensure you are dealing direct with the transporter, insurance coverage etc.
