    It's 1 : 8. With the body on, it's about 20 inches long. I had to make it big enough that I could see it!

    I cannot believe you are not worried about the drivers tiny feet being crushed with that front crash attenuator.

    Sweeeeet! Excellent work! Will be be a completed car or just the frame? Any ideas on how the bodywork is going to be made of? Lexan or ABS?

    The car has a body made of Smooth-on 65D castable plastic, but I am considering making one of fiberglass. That way the thickness would be more to scale. Here is a shot of that, as far as I've gotten..

    I know, I know, but you just can't fit a decent crash-attenuator under the DB-1 nose. It's not my fault!

    You could also consider 3-D printing. I think Shapeways is the company most modelers use.

    if I hadn't already spent absolutely insane amounts of money on this, I'd love to do it in 3-D metal, with dot magnets to hold it in place. However, putting the word "metal" in front of 3-D printing is like putting the word "race" in front of car-parts. It would be cool, though! .
