Mrs Frog and I stopped by Bath Ohio last Saturday.
I think Mrs. Frog wished Dave another Happy Birthday... 77?
Dave had one of Phil's Z10s already loaded in his trailer for the FF50th at Road Atlanta.
Dave took me out to the shop. You have to see the detail of all that Steve has done to really appreciate the upgrades in this car.
Really beautiful work. Many changes to make radials work better. Really cool crush structure for the front.
Working with Steve is one of the most rewarding things related to upgrading my car. We work very well together, bouncing ideas off each other to come up with solutions much better than either of us could create alone.
And, of course, Steve has the equipment in his shop to fabricate almost anything we come up with.
So, while it's a time-consuming process, it's definitely worth it in the end!

What is the shallow v shaped piece with the tube where the bottom of the V would be? It is drininv me nuts.
I see the reservoirs are up high and behind a lot of structure, keeping them out of harms way. Are the MC's located in more or less the conventional location?
Do you mean the ring just in front of the MC reservoirs? That was initially planned to be the chassis anchor for a 3rd spring, which obviously can't be used with the current setup.
The MC's are just behind and below the swaybar cross-tube. You can see the hoses leading to them in one of the latest photos. Post 31 has some photos that give a better view of the MC's.
