    Default Runoffs FA/B/C Q1 participation

Any insight as to what's going on at the Runoffs with the winged formula cars? I tuned in to live scoring today and only 7 cars took the green between all three classes listed in the title. Only 5 cars completed a lap, and the times appeared way off from what I expected. Didn't appear to be any weather issues. Anybody know what's going on?

There was some light rain during the previous group or two. Apparently most of the participants decided not to risk running (or put more time on engines) because it was damp enough to prevent any times that would be competitive. And, the rest of the week shows no rain in the forecast.

Because of the SCCA's poor decision to re-class FB with FA, most of the FB's (F1000's) on the east coast have been running with FRP this year in the NAF1000 series. Unless SCCA rewrites the rules to keep the class likely you wont see many of these in the runoffs in the future.
