Default FF50th @ Road America: Carb Float Tool Door Prizes

Mark Davison, long time Formula Ford racer, has donated 100 (!) of his hand-made Weber 32/36 DGV carburetor float setting tools as FF50th “door prizes.” Included with the tool are an illustrated instruction booklet and a zip-lock plastic pouch.

I will have one of these beauties for the first 100 Formula Ford racers who stop by my trailer located in the upper south paddock up behind the CTech Building and the garages in slip US53/54.

Many thanks to Mark for this incredibly generous donation to what will surely be a memorable occasion.

    Default Thanks so much!

    Mark,
Thanks so much for a really cool tool. I've always wanted one in my tool box, now I do. I will put it to good use.

    Steve,

What an awesome event. We had a great time, paddocked up in Upper west we felt like we were camped out in Sherwood Forest or perhaps Gilligan's Island. It was quiet and well sheltered from the wind for the most part, with very little traffic.

I didn't understand the grief with Group 13. We just couldn't seem to get a good session to save our souls. My heart goes out to Adam Stanton with his bad luck on Sunday morning. Way too many drivers simply didn't see a frantic waving yellow flag at the entry to the kink. The first half of the grid were slowed down and able to navigate the incident. The second half, not so much. With group 12, there were many more cars and a wider spread in speeds and lap times, but all seemed to get along better.

    Best regards,
    Dan Wise
