    Default Head Marking

Hi all. I am trying to figure out what this marking is on the end of my head. It has LFTT on it. There is another making above #4 exhaust but I can only read L...7. Anyway thanks for any help.

Given the taper on the vertical leg of the "F" and a very faint horizontal line at the base, it looks to me like it's an "E" that wasn't perpendicular to the head when struck. Maybe "LETT", last name of previous owner?????

Possibly but the bottom of the F leg stops pretty abruptly.
