Default New owners of the Citation Cars

I had a local guy new to vees call me about his car and I told him to contact the guys that bought Larry's business. It appears as though he will need a beam with the steering pieces for the rockers for the Citation steering. I looked for them in the history but didn't see any posts about them. Anybody know how to get a hold of them?

Gord has an extra set of Rockers and hardware. Sure they would be priced right.

    Ed.

I've got some Citation steering parts, we can talk at Road America.
The beam I have is a ball joint so not V material.

    Default Citation FV parts

Has anyone ever thought to contact the guy who did a lot of the design work and built many of the parts?

I built a new version of the Citation FV in 1995/96. But I used the same steering setup that I used on the 84 FV.

Thanks Larry! So do you still make parts Steve? This guys beam is bent and it looks like more than I usually will straighten out. The pitman arm also looks bent and I am not sure about the rocker on the side that is bent. He did send me a picture but I haven't seen the car.

I will hijack this thread just a little.

When Larry put the company (Citation) up for sale, I considered buying it. At the time I had just left a very well paying job and was unemployed. Now imagine trying to convince your wife that she was going to be the breadwinner while I got the business off the ground. (I know some of you have done it - more power to you!) Just bad timing on my part.

So Kevin bought the business and is trying to make it work. To do that he needs customers. We have built FV in the NE by helping new drivers by sharing parts rather than hoarding, but at some point if we want to keep these guys in business, we need to buy something from them. That is why I try to send people to Kevin, Steve at VSR, Dave at Autowerks, Richard Pare etc. And not to forget Dietmar who supports our race series. And many I am leaving out......

I guess what I am trying to say is we need to send these guys some business to keep them around. Many FV guys don't even know they exist or where some of the companies are now (who owns Mysterian? We do know where Caracal and Fred Clark are.)

Since we have some businesses that comment on this board maybe we need a thread that lists the company and what they offer, so people can find out about them? Maybe that will generate some business so they can pay Doug for a real ad.

I contacted Revolution to see if they had the air scoops/inlets for my Z12. They didn't reply. Anybody know where I can buy those?

Try design13inc@yahoo.com Chuck Brewer is the guy for all the body work parts that Citation Engineering had for the cars that I designed.

We have an extra set of Z18B scoops that we could sell. I'm not sure if they would work on a Z12 or not.
