    Default FRP at VIR

FRP's F1600 races have a tradition of having close finishes, and not just for the overall win. Last weekend we may have had the closest one yet at 0.012 seconds or about 2 inches. Below is Jonathan Kotyk (white KHill car) and Josh Green (yellow Team Pelfrey) when it counted most.

And for the master's win, Scott Rubenzer narrowly over Mike Scanlan by a 'ho-hum' 3 feet.

    Default Great job by FRP

I attended my first FRP 1600 race last weekend at VIR and I am very pleased with the value provided at this event.

It was really amazing to see how Bob and the staff at FRP (about 20 people) are dedicated to being kind and helpful. I think throughout the weekend they checked on us about 6 times to make sure that we didn't have any problems.

Their is a certain energy at these races that you just don't get with SCCA. It's a unique atmosphere where everyone is competitive with one another but also super friendly at the same time.

The racing was very close throughout the field!

Jonathan did a good job of getting up to speed against some stiff competition, and it was great to have James back in the FRP paddock. Hopefully some of the Florida racers will consider coming north for some summer racing with Lee Racing so we can see them more often.
