    Default Gasoline Alley Garage Features

Going to IMS next week for the SVRA Invitational. We are renting a Gasoline Alley garage for the weekend.

Does anyone know how well the garages are equipped?

    • Table or workbench of some kind?
    • Water?
    • I'm sure they have electricity, yes?
    • Lighting?
    • Compressed air?
    • Other stuff?

We'll be loading the trailer next week and looking to lighten the load where we can. If I can leave a few things at home, like a table, it would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

Been two years since we rented garages, but as I recall, no internal dividers between cars, pretty sure there were benches along the back wall, well enough lit but nothing special, no compressed air, a few electrical outlets, and poor air circulation (bring a box fan).

I'm packing with the assumption that Ian's memory above is correct but if anyone remembers anything else, please chime in! Leaving on Weds!! YIPPIE!!

Sounds very spartan for such a famous place....
Of course much better than the earlier G. Alley wooden sheds.
hope rent is in line with offering......

    Water?
If it rains there's a chance you will have a flooded garage.
Don't know how many garages are affected but we had 1" of water the first two days we went.

Also don't forget you can't park your trailer or tow vehicle or car near your garage.

Weather looks like it will be good for the whole event. Mid-80s.

Excellent point, forgot that. You can park trailer fairly close to unload and load, but bring/rent a golf cart if you need stuff in trailer, it can be a hike depending on which one you’re in ????
